About Dr. Ayoka Wiles
Dr. Ayoka Wiles is an innovative visionary committed to outcomes and building institutions that provide access, high-level achievement, and excellence. Strengths include leadership, strategic planning, project and financial management, compliance, capacity building, tactical integration of technology, and program evaluation. Ayoka has 20 years of leadership experience transforming and inspiring organizational and program development for arts, culture, education, youth development, and social justice organizations. She has received a PhD and Master of Philosophy in Public Policy & Administration from Walden University, a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from the Milano Graduate School of Management and Urban Policy, The New School, and a BA in Economics from Mount Holyoke College.
Ayoka has served as a regular panelist reviewing grant funding for New York State Council on the Arts, New Jersey State Council on the Arts, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs as well as several private funders.
Also, her work includes research, financial management, program development, evaluation, as well as developing strategic relationships and business models. Her experiences are diverse from grantmaking, coaching, counseling, leadership development, strategic planning, volunteer management, and fundraising. Active in the public sector she is a member of Pi Alpha, National Honor Society for Schools of Public Affairs and Administration, the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), and National Association of Nonprofit Professionals.
